Checkout is handled by Paddle.com — our merchant of record. They bill you in USD, handle VAT/sales tax worldwide, and send the receipt. Cancel any time from the Paddle customer portal.
What happens after I pay?
Your account is already live — you created it at signup, and your API key works right now on the free tier. Payment upgrades that same account, usually within a minute of checkout: Paddle sends us a signed event and we flip your tier automatically. You'll get a receipt from Paddle by email; that email is also how you manage or cancel the subscription later.
Do you handle VAT / sales tax?
Yes — Paddle is the legal seller of record. They calculate, collect, and remit VAT/GST/sales tax for every jurisdiction. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay; taxes are added and handled transparently.
What if I go over my monthly quota?
We won't silently drop events: once you hit the cap, further enqueues return a
clear 429-style error you can alert on. Need more? Upgrade, or
email us for a custom volume tier.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from a link in your Paddle receipt emails. Your key keeps working to the end of the paid period.
What if my receiver is down for a week?
Retries run for 34 hours across 15 attempts; anything that never lands parks in your dead-letter queue (7/30/90 days by tier) and can be replayed with one call once you're back.
